Fitness Boot Camp Coach – Part Time (early morning classes)

Are you an upbeat, motivated fitness professional who loves to teach and share your enthusiasm and love of fitness with others? Are you a creative type who can BRING THE ENERGY and provide a fresh, well-rounded full body workout to a diverse group of individuals in an outdoor setting? If yes, read on….

LifeSport Fitness, Inc. is looking for a high energy, reliable, motivating individual to share in the duties of coaching at one (or both!) of our two early morning outdoor camp locations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion, energy, professionalism and personality a MUST! We’re looking for “WOW!”
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • College level coursework in a health or fitness related discipline
  • National certification (personal trainer or group fitness instructor)
  • At least one year experience teaching/coaching in a fitness setting
  • Current CPR/First aid certification
  • Reliable car
  • Access to a computer, printer and the internet

Personal Trainer – Part Time

Join the Coaching Team at Our Personal Training Studio!

Do you have a passion for helping others find their strength and coaching them to higher levels of fitness? Would you be comfortable in a smaller, more intimate setting (no “big box” gym here!) where you have a set work schedule coaching busy Silicon Valley professionals?

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Dependable, prompt, efficient, self motivated, and able to think on your feet
  • Ability to coach and motivate several clients at the same time
  • Great sense of humor and willingness to learn new concepts
  • Ability to work a mix of weekday evenings, mornings and Saturday mornings
  • Ability to keep accurate, detailed training notes on clients
  • Willingness and desire to work with an “over-40” clientele
  • Willingness to work as a team with other lifeSport Fitness team members
  • Basic computer skills/knowledge (Excel, Google docs)
  • Access to reliable internet at home
  • Minimum of 1 year of personal training experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or fitness related field preferred
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Nationally accredited personal training certification (can be in progress)
